Last night was the kick off party for the Triangle CF Great Strides Walk. The walk takes place on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Many people shared wonderful stories and even our own Kevin Coggins took the mike on behalf of corporate sponsors. Did you know that 10 years ago the median age was 27 and today it is now 40? Imagine where we will be 10 years from now. North Carolina has one of the highest population of patients due to the strong care centers we have in UNC, Duke and Wake Forest University. The CF Foundation invests more in research and the care centers in NC than we actually raise so more money comes back to NC than most other states.
