Why do we walk for CF? Whether or not you elect to contribute, watch this amazing 5 minute VIDEO reflecting one young boy’s journey with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Just two generations ago, most children with CF didn’t live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, nearly half of CF patients are age 18 or older and the average survival age is over 40 years old. Impressive progress has been made but so much more needs to be done, as we continue to lose precious lives to this disease every day.
This year, we’re walking in the Raleigh, NC Great Strides walk on 05/21/2016. Please help us meet our fundraising goal by sponsoring us.
