There was a lot of excitement in the air on Saturday May 21st as we all got ready for our Great Strides 5k to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their mission of finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Kids ran around with Duck Donuts and Krispy Kremes, adults mingled, and pups barked at Wool E. Bull.
The Governor’s mansion- about half way into the walk- was decorated with over 800 pinwheels to represent those in NC that struggle with Cystic Fibrosis.
The 5k was dotted with signs with uplifting quotes from North Carolinians with Cystic Fibrosis.
